I tried to use this plugin on my CSGO server.

It only paints a small, blank dot on my map wall - sometimes not even that. I even tried to spray the example decal included, but that didn't work either. I tried this in 3 different maps.

What am i possibly doing wrong?

You probably dont have the image files on your fast download server. This plugin requires a fast download server to get the images. If that is not the case then you probably dont have the image files in the right place. If you right click the .vmt and choose to edit with a notepad (or similar program) you can see where the directory is suppose to be on the image files.

For anyone having difficulty scaling a new decal because you have to relaunch your csgo every time i am here to save your day
disconnect from server and do mat_reloadallmaterials and mat_reloadallcustommaterials on console and connect to server again

Umm yeah for the save decals, the "all" option doesn't work! The only one that I've found to work is the "aim at position"
