Make sure you got zones folder within sourcemod/data, otherwise files will not be saved.

Finally got this thing working. Vey useful indeed for some maps I've modified. Tnc u very much Root!
keep up the good work on all these very useful and fun dods plugins you're creating.
DoDS is way more much fun now! Cheers!

Btw I think you gotta update your zip file by including that zones folder for people who might miss out creating it or update the instructions with more details as the vid might get overlooked.

It's me again and here's a request you might like, hopefully.

Like add a plain solid wall option instead of that bounce back thing...it can be of so many use which I'll
explain if ever you're interested.

And also if you can make it add more than 8 zones.

It would require alot of work I guess, and solid walls may look weird at a few positions (such as vents).

I've updated zones plugin to newer version, mostly bug fixes.
You also can try attached CS:GO version. I made it just for test and it worked fine for me.

Cool! Btw are the slay zones more powerful now? Sometime bots can get through them.

Not really. ForcePlayerSuicide native is not working if player is within spawn (only in DoD:S i guess), so make sure zones is far away from respawn area.

Some people asked me about support for CS:GO and TF2, so I decicded to make Zones plugin for all games.
Changelog:
  • Added support for more games, such as CS:GO, L4D1/2, TF2 and other games that SourceMod supports.
  • Added proper support for workshop maps.
  • Yet again improved 'boucing' punishment. Now players really will not able to cross zone due to pushaway collision group.
  • Fixed player suiciding for DoD:S (when player was within respawn area).
  • Moved 'Save coords' option in first page so zone editors dont have to search for it.
  • Renamed all console variables.
  • Added sm_zones_show_messages convar to set whether or not show punishment notifications in chat.
  • Implemented other small improvements for this plugin.

On TF2 if they have a weapon and you set to melee only if they keep their weapon out they keep the weapon in restricted zone however if they switch to melee in zone they cant change back.

Melee punishment is supposed to change weapon to melee only when player enteres a zone, and allow to use each other weapons back if they move out of it. Thanks for report, I'll take a look at this and try to fix it for TF2.
