I'm not sure whether I should start another thread about this or not, since it may be related to the update, but I don't know. Can anyone else use sm_cvar from a client? It seems like Sourcemod doesn't recognize me as an admin anymore. My server.cfg is set up correctly, and I can see that my client has connected in the server's console. I can use sm_cvar from the server, but when I try from the client, it tells me I'm not allowed.

I've done it a few times before when updating Sourcemod (granted, that was back on Sourcemod 1.4, now I'm running 1.6), so I'm pretty confident I set up the admin stuff right (core.cfg, admin_simple.ini, setinfo "KEY" "PASSWORD", admin flag z, tried both Steam ID and user name). I even tried sm_dump_admcache, and I'm listed correctly. I also verified my Steam ID by typing "status" into the console. So I'm really at a loss here.

Thank you to everyone fixing the issues. Just want you to know it is appreciated. I only know how to manage my server on a day to day basis and do some basic editing. I read through the thread but am still a bit confused.

My server is a windows one. What should my course of action be at this time? I am understanding that sourcemod is the issue on Windows and Metamod is the issue on Linux after this update?

Should I manually install a new version of sourcemod, see if it loads on server, and then test one plugin at a time? I have so many things installed I don't even know where to start.

Windows servers are still unusable in terms of Confogl. Testing revealed it has to do mainly with SDKTools. Seeing as 80% of competitive plugins rely upon it, it makes no sense to even bother with L4DT2 sigs.

It's not like everything will be updated at once. But since finding offsets takes time there's no harm done in already starting.

Updated Windows gamedata has now been pushed to the autoupdater (or will alternatively be in 1.4, 1.5, and 1.6 snapshots soon).

That should finish everything for Windows, aside from third-party plugins and extensions.

Linux fixes will be next.
