CSO is non-Steam as in it doesn't use Valve's distribution platform, it isn't illegal CS. The forum rule refers to illegal (cracked) copies of GoldSrc games, which are usually called "non-Steam copies".

CSO can be discussed here, but it isn't officially supported by AMX Mod X.

Thanks Seta for explanation about CSO, i think Exolent misunderstood between CSO and CSO-NST. CSO is legal and got licence under VALVE.

For now i no longer play Taiwan version since CSO Singapore [EN] version was released.

Yeah you're right, i didn't remember about NST, it is was illegal, CSO isn't.

Anyway, i don't play CSO that much, have to spent money to unlock weapons and if you get out of the server while playing, you lose points, that sucks.

OH and btw, i have the CSO weapon skins running on my steam CS

I really don't know but is there anywhere on the web virusfree installer of this CSO? All of the videos on youtube are great. Is it at all legal to download or run it in europe?

the nst plugin as is is legal, the thing is that plugin requieres some slowhacking/a non steam copy for work correctly.
