Hi, does this work with CSGO? Do I need additional plugins for this to work? On my server it just puts color codes at the beginning of tags, names, chats. only sometimes stuff people write are in red.

No, it doesnt (Hence the "[Source 2009 Games]" in the title). I'll try to make a CS:GO version here soon.

Plugin updated to version 1.3.

CS:GO is now supported. See changelog for details.

Note: I have tested it on CS:S and the output is the same, but havent tried CS:GO, since I dont have it. However, I used the same method described elsewhere for CS:GO in the forums, so it should work fine. Please post back here whether it does or doesnt work on CS:GO.

EDIT: Updated to v1.4 (I needed to remove the argument requirement on !settag so that you can set blank tags). See changelog. v1.3 was only put up about 15 minutes ago, but I changed the version # to v1.4 JUST INCASE someone downloaded it in that amount of time.

Hmmm...that's weird. I used the methods described in these threads:

https://forums.alliedmods.net/showpo...60&postcount=1

https://forums.alliedmods.net/showpo...1&postcount=17

I guess those arent refering to the hex codes but rather to the stock 10 or so colors

After doing more searching, you can only use those default 10-15 colors for CS:GO, so I'll relabel the plugin accordingly. Plugin updated to v1.5 to remove CS:GO coding, but keep the other changes.

So I'm confused. Does it work on CSGO or not?

Alright I guess I will look at other plugins.

No....there are no plugins, nor does it look like there will be any that can handle hex code. However, someone CAN develop one that allows tags, etc. but is limited to those 10-15 colors. But the infinite array that is hex code/RGB is not available for that game and to developers.

Updated to v1.6.

Add admin see-all option, and an auto-convert-all-caps-chat-triggers option. See OP for details.

So, i tested the plugin and the commands seem all to work, but seems that whenever you set a tag, no commands (ES or SM) don't fire at all. Using SCC as well.
