Hello,

I know something about java and i like to play minecraft so the first thing what i dont like
if you install many mods then your minecraft get crashed.

the reason is that sprite limit is reached
correct limit is 256

i am kinda sad about this.
there are so many mods what i want to install but i just can.

So now i am searching things in minecraft to increase sprite limit to 2048
there are 2 ways how i can do it

with hex editor, changing values and stuff
with decompile class ( problem is , i dont get full source but that is okay )

so i open up the minecraft.jar and i saw files like

Quote:
a.class
aa.class
aaa.class
aab.class
aac.class
aad.class
aae.class
...
yu.class
yv.class
yw.class
yx.class
yy.class
hmm, thats impossible to find that right class where the limit is coded.
mayby there are somewhere the list what show what each file do in minecraft.jar

i saw some modders know what some files know, so there must be a list.
Anyway, i search google and the minecraft forums to get this list but i did not found something.

Mayby someone know this and can give me link.
it would be very helpful.

If i have list of this files and the sprite limit things are done then i love to share this with you.

All I wrote was "remove sprite limit minecraft" (without quotes) and it was the first result...

Did you search for "pancakes" instead of "minecraft sprite limit" ?

I just skimmed the post, so I do not know if it works or not, but it seems that way.

That was older minecraft version, there are no such thing anymore like itemrender.class
now there are random letters.

minecraft sprite/item index classes
Quote:
aan.class
mn.class
tw.class
yr.class
I already decompile files now i edit source.
Also, there are some working ways but they dont support ohter mods.
( mods like 4019IDs and forge )

It is not so easy to find things in google, you need to know that are they working.
Again thanks for your help Jelle

Here is the mod what is working: http://www.planetminecraft.com/mod/c...e-sprites-api/
PS: it can not be run with 4096IDS and idresolve ( and some ohters mod who use those class files what i posted here )
