allow_spectators 0 (change to 1 to enable spectators in general)
But does this plugin force the server to allow admins to go into spec?
Or does it have to be enabled in the server.cfg, in which case everyone can be a spectator no?

Currently I have spectators disabled, therefor there's no option to join spec.
Even with this plugin running and all.
My question is do i have to enable spectating in the server.cfg and how will it affect visitors from going into spec?
Or does this plugin auto block them from choosing spectating?
The number of spectators allowed are defined by the server.cfg?

allow_spectators 1 will make the spectator option to show when changing teams. This plugin handles the call made when they press that option. If they press that option and they don't have the proper access flag it sends them to a random team(random / by team number count).

I have this all in my CVAR, not sure if something should have been taken out or not but I just copied and paste it.
Yet somehow when I join there's the spectating menu, before choosing that I make sure i'm signed in as a admin.
Now when I do choose spectate it says only specific admins are allowed to spec. forcing into a team.

Which I don't get since your plugin is easy as hell, yet i must be doing something wrong.
After joining a team or such (for some reason spectate is not up for chosing, though it's enabled on the server).

spec_admin - cvar sets what flag (from users.ini) that the admin needs to join spec.
any number of flags allowed (example: "abcd")
Default: "abcdefghijklmnopqrstu"

I have a feeling you may be confused. In your amxx.cfg add this line:

spec_admin "abcdefghijklmnopqrstu"

Now when you go into your server and while dead (because whether it is meant to be this way or not i dunno CS only displays the [spectator] button on the change team menu when you are dead) select spectator and it should work fine (will allow everyone with one or more of those flags to join spec, if you don't have a single one of those flags you get sent to a team).

Yeah that should do it.
As I don't know too much about CVARS itself I tend to copy and paste what the authors write on this forum.
It makes sense now what you wrote and should do the trick.
