Introduction:
Territory is a Natural Selection Modification that implements a new game type. It's implemented as a Plugin and runs Server Side. It takes NS: Combat gameplay and changes a few rules.

Your objective is to control key positions of the map represented by Resource Nodes. No CC or Hive destroying, just controlling the nodes. There is actually more than one game mode for it, and some maps support more than one, which adds even more diversity to the game.

You can think of Territory as a step between Combat and NS Classic. You still have the experience/level system of Combat, but with a few strategy elements from Classic. You need to capture, build and hold key positions on the map and attack the enemy controlled positions.

Since you have several points to attack and defend, teamwork is a must. I think even those people that dislike Combat, because they think it's boring and repetitive, will like Territory since it's more tactical and dynamic at the same time. Territory could also help new players to have an easier transition from the simple frag-oriented Combat to the complex strategy-oriented Classic.

I'm sorry but this isn't the place to say we cannot improve/make new versions of this plugin. (Although, I respect your request so I'm not going to touch it)

I have to compliment in your project though. Skimmed through the source and it looks pretty sweet..

we forgot to bump this thread with the update
from 1.0 to 1.1.2 and to latest 1.1.2b


v1.1.2:

fixed:
- menu vote issues with map voting
- vote wont appear untill two players on server
- runtime errors
- errors with Sequence Capture on MvM
- no icon above nodes during first round
- when playing normal combat after any territory mode smoke was not removed
- invulnerable CC/Hive on normal combat (not 100% sure)
- smoke not being removed on 2nd round
- blocked impulses still could be cought by other plugins and produce conflicts
- people with hltv will not be counted anymore
- sprites not being removed on non ter maps after territory has been disabled
- runtime error that could lead to bad errors (hope its fixed)

added:
- support for multi-language (currently English + German + Portuguese + French)
- two-vote-system, first for Territory or Combat, second for Territory mode (only if Ter voted)

changed:
- Sequence Capture now does not end by capturing all nodes but destroy Hive/CC too
- bots are ignored for vote
- adjusted tech vote for NS 3.1

- compiling errors with amx mod X 1.6

Request: Can you remove the overriding combat timelimit, there is no point setting the mp_combattime cvar if this plugin overrides it from the value in its config file. Can you at least give the option to force this plugin to read in said cvar instead? thankyou.
