I have a rented CS 1.6 server i installed some maps and i get this error:
FATAL ERROR (shutting down): Host_Error: PF_precache_generic_I: Bad string '

maybe the maps are corrupted. try them locally and if everything is clean, then reupload them again.

Perhaps problem in RES files of maps. Remove it.
