What is the deamon and how do i get it to work on windows

As the title says, I need help on this part. I will not be switching my servers to linix so if someone could enplane a bit better on what to do for this then the wiki does that would be awsome.

I kind of got mine ruining. But if it crashes I have to manually start it back up. I can't figure out how to make it restart if it crashes by itself.

Have you got activePerl running as a service?

no because the wiki doesn't explain how to do that and I can't figure it out on my own

Alright, could you tell me how you got a perl script running?

My service doesn't work - so restarts like, all the time. xD

installed pearl like the wiki told me to and then I just double click the file and it just opens with cmd window

I double click on a .pl file and the cmd windows opens, makes text and closes - too quick for me to read anything... I'll double check to see if I overlooked somthing.

EDIT: Yeah I overlooked somthing - Linux users users design windows apps in a way to mess with us, I swear.

EDIT: Okay - I got it working as a service. Sorry I'm such a pratt, overlooked two super things because I'm tired.

I only ask because you run game servers on a windows box and it makes it 1000x's easier.

Cab you show me how you set yours up? Mine isn't working.

Edit: I think UAC is stopping it. Ill try turning it off.
