Setting up a dedicated server on Mac
|

Hi all,
I'm trying to setup a dedicated server on my Mac server at home and since all youtube tutorials are for Windows, I'm kinda confused and not sure how to proceed. I would really need your help to finish my server.
This is what I have done;
Downloaded SteamCMD for Mac and ran this commands;
-login anonymous
-force_install_dir (My directory)
-app_update 740 validate
Then I generated a GSLT on steams website under my account and got a token.
Now this is where I'm stuck, what now? All guides are for Windows and I can't paste the token into a "start.bat", because that won't work on Mac, right?
I tried to double click onthe "srcds_run" and I get the following error;
ERROR: Invalid game type 'csgo' specified.
So I have no idea what to do now or where to look for answers, I posted on Reddit and someone told me to come here instead. So please, does anyone know what I should do next to get my server up and running?
Thanks!
EDIT: Before I even waste your and my own time setting up this server, will my Macbook Pro even be able to handle a 10 slot, 128 tick game server?
2.5GHz dual-core Intel i5 (Turbo Boost up to 3.1GHz)
8GB 1333 MHz DDR3 RAM
