I was in the suggestion / requests section just now, and I realized something: Despite AmxModX's name, the standard console commands use the amx_ prefix. I know that it used to be Amx Mod, but I'm curious as to why you guys kept the old prefix?

I am using it because the default plugins got it.

Maby they wanted the transfer to be as smooth as possible.
Also you could've created macros which you don't want to edit.
Or even worse someone else created them for your server and you don't know how to fix it.

Really just a curious question, seemed to me that from AMX to AMXX the prefix would change

It's because the majority of users were using AMX back in the day. To avoid confusion, a decision was obviously made to streamline the progression from AMX to AMXX. There are most likely other reasons, but this answer should be sufficient enough.
