I run a surf server on Counter-Strike and I would like to add a feature to the server that allows players to surf after they have died as ghosts after they type a /ghost command once they're dead.
So what this means for you coders is-
The player can somehow be 'dead' but still play so the round ends (don't know how you would do that).
Or you could possibly respawn the player as a spectator, with no weapons, and not allowing the player to get any weapons.
They player will also need to have godmode, semiclip, invisibility, and the loss of ability to kill his or herself.
Luckily I believe that semiclip if done a certain way, also gives the person godmode. I think that is what is done in this plugin: http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=59455
so there is a bit less work for you guys.

I know there is a glitch in LAN where a spectator can still walk around and such, but I don't think it can be replicated in a normal fashion. You should try getting an auto-respawner for those dead people, like the one you see in CSDM.

If you revive someone in spectator mode, they will play as a spectator, this glitch works in anything, but if anyone can do this by making the player alive while still having the server think he was dead would be great.

Anyways I don't need respawn, I wan't the players that are dead to be able to surf if they want and not disrupt the game to pass time.

He only wants a normal surf game but when a player is dead he is dead and he can ghost to past the time like he has no weapons he has nothing no body see him he is not solid and he is invisible so he can surf and not disturb players alive but when round is end. He will respawn like others 100hp solid...

Try setting the maxplayers to 1 when creating a listen server.

Sounds like a horrible idea, because its just the same as them being alive no offence, i suggest if you run a good SURF server try using the best plugin for surfing by hawk552, other then that sorry.
