So I have to use SVN again to download? Is it hard to put the latest versions as a zip in the first post? If there was another JB style mod avail that didn't require me to download a 3rd party application to download a game update, I'd use it without question. Why do people have to make things so complicated, we aren't all computer/net wizards.

Okay (after downloading svn clients) . So now it seems I'm a complete nub (happy to admit it). I need explanations on how to disable both rules and overlays please.

There should be explanations in the convar descriptions. For rules, you need to specify a menu since the websites will not work in CS:GO and for the overlays, if you think those are causing problems, then the instructions say to blank them out.

Okay thanks. Was just what everyone else had been saying about removing overlays and rules and things working. I already tried just setting sv_pure 0 but to no avail.

Would this be correct in the fix?

The problem starts when the first person joins the server and it attempts to load some form of overlays.

I've now tried the above "Blank out" fix, again to no avail. Just going to try a quick attempt at moving sm_hosties.smx to plugins/disable see if server still works, let it at least load 100%, then put the file back to plugins.

I'll let you know how the testing goes. Hopefully at the same time helping anyone else having trouble see exactly what is causing the problems.

Oh.. New thought. Been staring me in the face. Will check for new SM, MM and SDHooks updates too!!

It seems even with sm_hosties disabled that the server crashes.

I'm 100% lost right now LOL. Time to reinstall my game-server, run it at scratch and see what happens!

Bots... Thats all I have to say.

Problem seems fixed as game update changed to somehow allow the adding of bots even though its disabled in server.cfg

Ultimate Facepalm moment
