Make sure you disable SM auto gamedata updates, and re-enable them when it's fixed.

there is absolutely no other problems except you need to update your gamedata and disable the autoupdate inside the core.cfg file

That is a terrible idea. The updater is pushing the most up-to-date gamedata for the files that it updates.

When temporarily overriding gamedata, it's preferable to put your custom gamedata in a dir named 'custom' in the gamedata dir and then remove it when it is no longer necessary. See the header in the SM gamedata files for more info.

Hi psychonic, thats what i have been told to do until the fix is released.

is the sdkhook gamedata/ engine.ep2v.txt updated now?
If yes, thats awesome then

hmm curious. i've tested it. i activated autoupdate again and zombs can't take weapons. but it shows still the old offset data in the file... donno why it is working now.

i already did that and it seems like they updated it.
i turned the autoupdate on and checked the sm log and saw the engine.ep2v.txt got updated .
Everything seems to be working fine
