Fr33m@n: The problem as stated in the thread is fixed. This thread is about intermittent, 2-3 minute failures that caused 502 errors. 3-4 hours of downtime with a 504 is pretty clearly not related.

I have no idea what happened last night yet. Looks like traffic spikes introduce too much load.

yeah, has been down until now since about 4 hours as Fr33 said for me aswell.

EDIT: Member list still disabled? :p

The Art of War: No plans to re-enable it, unless there's a very compelling use-case. Our server can't handle the load it puts on the database.

The Art of War : You can always use the advanced search engine and search posts by a specific author.

There was a sustained DoS attack. Anyway, I think it's time to close this thread; we've solved the major performance issues that caused consistent, daily problems, and now we're down to sporadic troublemakers. This is a good sign.

We're planning infrastructure upgrades and I'll have more news in a week.
