Years ago I used to host a dedicated server and it worked fine, I never tweaked router, internet settings, ext.

Today I tried to put one up, it wasn't showing up on the list and people couldn't join via console command "connect <ip:port>". I browsed a website you might know, google, and found some ports people suggested opening, so I did.

So now people can join through steamfriends, "connect", favoriting it, ext. It just won't show up on the browsing server list, anyone have any ideas?

1200 UDP/TCP Enabled,
27000-27015 UDP/TCP Enabled,
27020-27039 UDP/TCP Enabled.
All Firewall's and Norton Disabled.
Running on Vista (/wrist).
Linksys Router.

Thanks!

some times it take time to show up on the list you should ask someone to type this in conole connect YOURIPORT
If that doesnt allow you to connect it isnt the Linksys, so its either norton or vista, although vista doesnt do much just check the firewall is offline
Also WHY OH WHY NORTON AND VISTA!??!!? whats wrong with your hdd
