Does not matter which Halflife version 2020 or 2024. When I install amxmodx v1.9.. with DOD I get error with gamerules. Can someone confirm is this is a real problem or just false error. I always see it on first load of map with any plugin that includes fakemeta.

Anyone seeing this error with Fakemeta. Running Halflife LegacyUpdate with DOD mod and dod Plugins?

Are you able to see if it does it on a Linux server? What plugin are you using that causes this (provide a link to the plugin thread if it's on this forum)? I only run Linux so might be able to try the plugin in Linux.

Yes, I can test on Linux.. I will reinstall and see what happens.. Here more info on question.


Any Plugins that have FakeMeta library cause this issue.

Just random one I pick to ask for help is dod_nonades.sma attached

But any of this cause Log message.. I have zero issues with plugins:

I was able to run dod_nonades.amxx on my Linux server (build "Aug 3 2020 (8684)") with AMX Mod X 1.9.0.

P.S. Fun fact, I've been to the house of the original author of this plugin.

All the Plugins run I just get that Fakemeta rules disable message on startup for windows..

I was finally able to get an DOD installed on Ubuntu and rerun plugin on v1.9 and get no errors.

Seems only windows installs throwing this error.

So can I just ignore error, Are signature files same in gamedata folders between linux and windows?
