Ok, my big guess is, you have tried install both steamcmd.exe and srcds in same location.
Those need to be own folders.

What about you try this tutorial. There two YT videos on top.

Sorry for the late reply.

Here is whats in my start.bat file

srcds -game csgo -console -usercon +game_type 0 +game_mode 1 +mapgroup mg_active -tickrate 128 +map de_cache +sv_setsteamaccount *** -net_port_try 1 +exec server.cfg +exec gamemode_competitive

I tried moving the metamod.vdf file out of the addons folder. Didn't work.

srcds.exe -console -game csgo +map de_dust2

I'm going to reinstall everything from scratch and see if it fixes my problem.

Either you have installed SteamCMD and srcds in same folder,
or another possibility is Anti-virus or Windows who block your srcds.exe program.

hey i could start my server with no problem and now after the last update im getting the same error, it suddently close, got any clue how to solve it?
