Sorry if this problem discussed already, but I need clean decision for it.
I have latest CS 1.6 server. Want to install some custom maps.

For example, "de_aztec3":

de_aztec3.bsp
de_aztec3.res
de_aztec3.wad

I install this map on server, and change it. It's okay.

Now I try to connect to server (game client without this map):
Okay, downloading WAD file of map:

After this: I got freeze of game client.

Check "cstrike_downloads" directory and I see:

"de_aztec3.wad" directory, not WAD file. WTF?

I also tried use this plugin:
Texture Model & WAD Precacher
Same results.

Right now I try to remove RES file of map.
In this case client download only BSP file and course got error:
WARNING: couldn't open de_aztec3.wad

I also tried Extra Precacher plugin — it's precache what I want, but WAD file, again, downloaded as directory.
Everything indicates that this some bug in latest CS game client.
