My laptop crashed, so im posting them instead of talking on mirc about it,.

Docs:
Instead of editing libst.gam you should add this to you command line:

-dll addons/metamod/dlls/metamod.dll

This method is superior to editing your libst.gam becuse valve loves to update this file, so when you server gets updated you have to edit it again.

Plugins:
I have noticed some of the plugins echo in the hlds console. I think there should [AMXX] tag to the text, so you know what plugin is doing it.

Ive noticed it still registers 2 cvars that contain the same info.

Filenames.
You name the folder for amxx, yet the file names/cvars still use amx.

Plugins: will be updated
Cvars: amx_version is still there so tools like HLDS detect AMX
Filenames: renaming commands would confuse people

amxx_ is too long to type so generally we will not be converting that I think. We'd like to maintain general backwards compatibility, although people can do whatever the want (ax_ amx_ amxx_ admin_) in their own plugins.

I am not removing liblist.gam from the doc, but I will add your suggestion.

no, because the update process will then hang when it tries to overwrite the file. since the update process is never completed it will always think it has to update.

-dll is steam only btw, was added a few versions ago. Only negative side with it is that some hosting companyes might no allow you to change your startup line.

Personaly id like amxx to just use amx. Becuse i do think regular amx will die off. But using diffrent exetensions does not have continuity, witch annoys me
