i have an issue where it works fine on the first map and then doesn't appear properly on any subsequent map. I can hear the sound effect working when I type in the command but no light or very minimal light appears. any ideas?

What are your cvars set to?

Working fine here for me. Minimal light? That sounds very strange.

I noticed a strange bug

When the infected dies and is sent to the observers for a while (while the re-respawn timer is running), the surviving bot (or the player who has not turned on the flashlight) has a very bright white flashlight (brighter than set in the settings)
it is from the side of observation of a special infected at the time of death

I hope I explained clearly

Is there's a way all survivor bots automatically turn on the flashlight?

I'll have to see if I can replicate the issue. Do you have any plugins modifying spectators or anything? Edit: I see it attached to the infected/spectator. Are you running the latest version? I made changes to fix this long standing issue where it was attached to their dead body.

I'll add a cvar for this soon. I've written the code for it, just need to test first and hopefully fix the above issue at the same time. Edit: seems to be working, turns on for bots too, maybe I'll add option for bots.
