i been thinking of way of to some how display a message to the player in the center of their and since HUDMsg is not supported in CSS how come when you aim at a teammate you get a "Friend: Health Num" message and kinda of the same thing when you look at enemies?

anyways i have looked for a function to do this but i couldn't find it, and then i went ahead and grep'ed the hl2sdk for these strings since this feature is also available for hl2(i believe lol) and maybe a find a way to hook the function and change the strings... because i don't actually need it to display text any time i actually want it to display text only on player aims at a friend/enemy and of course in the center.

Its the same in TF2 except it shows a tiny little HUD box that shows your teammates names. After looking for this function for a long time, im inclined to think its clientside.
