Plugins cannot be "IP Licensed". If you were not given the .sma file with the .amxx file, you need to demand that the person from whom you got the plugin give it to you (it is required by the license).

If you cannot get the source code (.sma file) then you should not use the plugin at all, ever.

I trust the souce, it is an exploit-fixing plugin that is very useful considering how many problems the current HLDS and CS clients have.
It is just licensed, as I previously mentioned, to clients of a certain hosting service and does not work on other servers that do not belong to it.
So is there any way to crack it and make it work on any server?

It is forbidden to distribute it at all. If someone wants to take the risk and willingly violate the GPL, they can request the file from you in PRIVATE.


I did a quick dump of the plugin and it does not appear to use SQL but instead uses HTTP (specifically the HTTP2 include)

Yes, I meant Sockets but confused them. So would there be any possible way to make it work?
If there is no Internet connection it sets itself as failed, so it definitely sends or retrieves some data.
Can that data be intercepted and printed? I presume the Sockets module would need to be re-scripted especially to give the plugin fake(and desired) information in order to make it work.

You can always intercept the http packets
