CS is dying.

Completive CS 1.6 has already died. They are moving wack cal-p teams to cal-i when they are not prepared. Every good 1.6 team is moving to source to get those 20 grand contracts from Direct TV. In my opinion after steam everything has went downhill for 1.6, but now source is taking over which is ridiculous. I am not bad mouthing Source but there is just no "competitiveness" in the game. They focused way to much on graphics.

I guess what do you guys think?

YES . I stopped playing cs 1 year ago . And sry i hate the source version. I only play medieval 2 total war and battlefield 2 .

I played source for 10 minutes. Then I gave my account to a friend. And it is absolutely true that the steam system and Valve's decisions have managed to wreck EVERY good part of that game.

Lies! The flashbangs are good..............well except maybe the physics of them, but theres still one good thing!

I never noticed in the 10 minutes I played but my friend said the grenades do damage if you hit someone with them... Like literally walk up to the person and throw it at him/her.

Thats not considerred an improvement over 1.6 since some mods do that (or something similar, i.e. TS).

I'm not saying it's an improvement... I'm thinking more along the lines of wtf?

CS 1.6 was, I think, at one point, rated the most realistic game of the year... I'd like it to stay that way but with all the shit Valve is throwing at it, that's not gonna happen. Unfortunately CS:S doesn't have a chance of winning that title. I mean... loosing 10% of your health cause you got hit by a grenade?

Technically thats realistic if someone threw it at you and it hit you in the head......However, in that case its just likely the grenade would have killed you anyways..........

Whats with all the people who say CS:S is more realistic in every manner (excluding flashbangs).
