Anyways, to Cynicalkitty, I despise Al Gore too, as I do despise alot of american politicians, but the movie is still something, I think everyone should see. It explains things very simply, and proves it point.

I went to target and I have to laugh because they had the dvd in a 'Global Warming' type sleeve.

It didn't look like a normal dvd case it was paper thin.

Regalis - I'm not sure where you live but if you live in a different country I'd either try your local video store or ebay? Maybe you can find it online as well =p.

I think Global Warming exists. I mean I don't know about any other states but we've had some insane weather changes in Rhode Island. That people say have been caused by Global Warming issues.

But maybe I'll take a look at the movie just so I can give my own critique, maybe I'll be convinced.

great movie, and crucial. As far as despising Al Gore, I don't understand where that comes from. Considering the current corrupt administration that has brought this country to it's knees, I find it amazing that the young republicans here can find any reason to despise anyone other than the warmongering , corrupt fascists that THEY (and their parents) elected.

Let me sum up the next 20-30 years for you guys.
Science has proven that the north pole is likely to have entirely melted before even half this century is through. Some even speculate that the north pole will melt before even 2030.
In 2036 there is an Asteroid named Apophis (named after something in Stargate, which that was named after the Greek god which was just a name for the Egyptian god Apep which translates as "The Destroyer") that has a 1:45,000 chance to hit Earth. If it does hit, it will not cause a nuclear winter, but will have twice the power that Krakatoa (which was the impact of 200 Megatons of Dynamite, so this asteroid is about 400 megatons).
Its safe to say that with the inevitable rise of 2 feet of water all around the world from the north pole melting, we will all just end up living on using our gas guzzling, polluting machines we call cars... (PS: Apply a sarcasm filter)

This is an insightful documentary that pinpoints facts about the controversial topic global warming. Where are all the environmentalists? Many people do not understand scientific dating, climatic variation, hydrologic cycles, emission spectrums etc. so they sometimes make irrational conclusion. What scientific evidence directly proves that global warming is due to Fossil Fuels?
