I was hoping someone could make a plugin where if the Demoman kills someone with his Eyelander it would play a sound effect. If anyone takes this up then I really appreciate it.

Any particular sound effect? This shouldn't be too difficult.

it would be coolest if it were configurable... (with a default for the noobs among us...) so admins could load whatever sound they wanted... like "admin sounds" plugin, only without all the other features.... that one can be overwhelming to peeps looking for simple functionality...

I'm writing something that will play a sound when someone kills using the sword, the sound is defined via a cvar and I'm seeing if it I can have a cvar that adds the sound to a Downloads Table if the sound is custom.

In future I may work on this and create a plugin that allows for specific sounds to be played when certain classes get kills with certain weapons (it would all be configurable somehow.)

NICE!! you may want to look here: http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=729788 for inspiration... this one works well, but is overwhelming with its options... can be too much depending on what you are trying to accomplish...

While I'm doing this, I would recommend that you refrain from using too many custom sounds (in any plugin), if there's any part of connecting to a server that a player hates it's having to download stuff.

Another thing is when a playr is forced to download sounds he already has...... to a different folder, so please make sure the cvar looks for the sound from a default folder =)
