No, I probably did add exec sourcemod/ircrelay.cfg just like the install instructions said lol. I've since deleted irc-relay since not being able to get it working with the help of folks in the IRC channel. I really don't have time to spin my wheels in the mud over issues like these

It was a nice plugin when it was working several months back for me though!

Figured out that the reason I didn't see some of the in-game messages was because those were from dead players.
And setchat is indeed configurable in the ircrelay.cfg file.

I already removed all the trigger stuff (it doesn't even use the cvar anymore). Except I can't the locate the dot.

Would this plugin be the best way to set up my server so that when someone types !admin in the server it will notify the ops in our IRC channel? Or is there an easier way?

I wrote a new function for this that allows my admins to execute approved SourceMod commands from IRC, not just the built in "ban, kick" and one or two other built in commands. I don't want to give them full RCON, but I want them to be able to use their SM access and truly administrate from IRC. There's a configurable KV cfg file with the commands you want to allow them, and works in this format:

!GameBot.sm mute PlayerName
!GameBot.sm map MapName

etc. I'm getting tons of use out of it, so I figured I'd offer it up!

Hi there!

The bot won't join the server or the IRC-channel. The only error I can see, is this:
