Well you could return false on the load method if a test is possible. That would make it so the plugin isn't loaded.

As BAILOPAN said near the end, what I meant by "one isntance" WAS that SourceHook in MMS would be managing them all since they were MMS plugins.

The point being that if you need SourceHook functionality you should make your plugin MMS only. The only reason to embed SourceHook in your own project would be for servers that are ONLY running your plugin.
