You should ask Shadow himself about it, if you haven't already.
He actually released the source code publicly (free, I might add) a while ago on the Big Bang Gamers forums, but it closed down within like a week of him uploading it there.

I tested the shadow's fork

Good and Bad

Bad thing:
Can Instant Kill Boss in first round.
Sometime this can ddos and crash your server.

our server is having some problems with koishis fork
it just started lagging really hard + if a hale has uber for a rage, they get stuck and cant move + the uber is infinite so it can make rounds go on long.
and ams is broken too. honestly really weird, just started happening all of a sudden about acouple days ago

plus sniper's wallclimb was broken, didnt do dmg to him + he had no cooldowns on it

update, guess the lagg is stopping after the owner updated sourcemod (but he did update sourcemod the first time, but then the lagg came back) so i dunno if it'll make another appearance
its only our server, his fork is fine i believe, no idea whats happening to our server atm lmao

Shadow did post his Fork v1.49 on BBG Forums before it closed down, but this version did not work for me, so I just resume to use v1.46. I did give it to someone but that user had many issues with it. I'm unsure if I missed something in the zip. But my FF2 works ok at the moment (only some bugs).

...like 1st boss dying at start round, as of today AMS stopped working for 'Neptune', boss getting stuck on Backstab (Bladeoman)...

Edit: I will only move to normal FF2 if it does the main things the Fork did (loading charsets without map change [end of rounds], BGM info in chat etc.)
