I seem to be having some issues getting this to fully work.

I've followed the guide and I am using the mysql module and steam module.
The server keys are new to me so I just used "1" as the key for testing and my servers ip:port in the web config.

The plugin seems to be working in game as it will bring up the menu and send the report, but the question is where is it going? I am not getting a message from the bot account. I've checked the verify installation page and checking the web script brings up the image below. Any ideas?

Should also add it was somehow keeping my server from restarting, or it caused it to crash. I'm not sure which.

The web script looks good but has no reports. A possible reason for this is that your server key isn't bound to the web key.
If you send me your app.config.php and the plugin.calladmin_mysql.cfg i can tell you if that's the reason.
It can help if you send the other configs too, but only if you changed them.

Sometimes the bot hangs, depending on the game it can help to use another method for it.
We usually recommend the web api method which you can set it in plugin.calladmin_steam.cfg.

Thanks for this plugin! I didn't read all 82 pages in this thread, what is the purpose of the webscript install? It doesn't create a webinterface does it?

I installed this too, what is the deal with the webscript.
I installed it to www.mysite.com/calladmin and all I get is an INDEX of page when I point my browser to the addy.

You don't need to read all pages, but it's recommended to take a look at the wiki.
If the wiki isn't clear enough about this, We're happy to improve it if you tell us what's needed to better understand it.

The web scripts can, at the time i posted this, be used to:
  • Make calls available to an rss client/reader (mysql module)
  • Make calls available to the desktop client (mysql module)
  • Forward calls to an ts3 server (ts3 module)
Each script (or set of scripts) is meant to be used together with a gameserver module.
If your module needs it, it should be stated on its wiki page.

For example: If you only use the steam module, you don't need the web scripts at all.

If using the Steam Module, the bot account has to be online for the admins to get a message from calladmin correct?

No. The bot has, of course, to be logged in, but he doesn't have to be online to send you a message.
By default you should see it online for a brief amount of time, but if this works seems to depend on the game your server is running on

Ok thanks, just trying to understand a little bit better. I just tested this in Insurgency 2014 and received these errors.

Code:

Then I switched

sm_calladmin_steam_method "0"

to "1" and it crashed the server.
The bot account was online on another computer. I added the bot account to my friends list.

Does the bot account's info go into the below fields?

sm_calladmin_steam_password ""

// Your steam username
// -
// Default: ""
sm_calladmin_steam_username ""

EDIT: Socket extension is installed.
I also have the Mysql module installed with the Call Admin Desktop Client running.
Still didn't receive any reports.
