Yes these to lines in core.ini must be there for the stats to get saved.

csstats_score   addons/amxmodx/data/csstats.amxx 
csstats      addons/amxmodx/data/csstats.dat

And also that file cststats.amxx // formula for calculation the rank

Now if you got everything working and you want to reset the rank and /top15 once in a while or when ever you feel like it just follow these steps:

Open your console while you are in your server and type this: amx_cvar csstats_reset 1.
Then change the map and it will reset rank and /top15.

since the installer doesnt work for windows server 2003 - i had to jack ass it into my box - but also the installer doesnt work when you want to install it for CZ listenserver - it still adds the TS stats even though it prompts for the CS addon package .

so my issue was - even though it was saying it was installing the CS addons - it never was - my core.ini file was reading TS stats

Boom, I tried everything you said but still nothing happens, I mean the csstats.dat doesn't appear at all, maybe I need to get it from someone ?

Hey sup. No the csstats.dat will appear on its own. Now is your problem that you can't get the /top15 and the /rank to work; or is it working but reseting? And if it doesn't work, does it say disabled when you type it in or doesn't say anything at all?
