Are we going to start having citations for when we post facts?

My post meant that not everyone gets their information from a reliable source, so what they post might not always be correct. I am not even sure on what the Swine Flu is, other than a more powerful flu than the standard flu that appears each year.

I think that's asking for too much. You should ignore everything in this thread (and laugh at the ridiculous comments).

There was a baby that died, but they have like no immune system to combat really anything that serious so that would be why. If a baby got the normal flu at that age most likely if no care was taken the kid would die. I think its just a more advanced flu, one that will eventually be taken care of by shots like everything else. It is bad and it is spreading but damn I think the US is going overboard canceling a lot of stuff... i mean concerts, sporting events, etc. its annoying though I know they are trying to protect everyone but its not like a pandemic plague going around the world killing off hundreds at a time. drugs and car wrecks kill more people a day than this so freak out about that instead.

Oh noes! It's Influenza A H1N1 !!!

Wait, didn't we all get just as worked up about H5N1 (a.k.a Bird Flu) which came to .... jack shit?

Combine that with the fact that I don't live in America, and the UK is still afaik unaffected, I don't really know why I posted.

That said, 'Flu' wiped out more people during WWII than all the people-killing-other-people put together ...
