Short answer: you can't. Player models are clientside in TF2, unlike in other games.

Yeah, TF2 doesn't allow SetEntityModel.
But I did hear you're able to do a bonemerge between two models.
So you could do a bonemerge, make the original invisible (SetEntityRenderColor) and add the custom animations to the original model aswell.

Maybe, in December it will be realesed. Still bugs, and problems with balance...

Well if you could add beta testers or something, in the beginning of the post it refers to a website where you can add yourself if you want to host the plugin.

Hence, about 0 action on that site.. while i do see other strange servers out there running the plugin which annoys the hell out of me. Constantly spamming sounds/music/micspam which makes me really leave the server.. (muting a player every minute is pretty annoying) abusing admin status to just not die when playing against hale, is this normal? Adjusting there own gravity etc etc.. this is just bad for the name of your mod in my eyes.

I'd like to run this VS Saxton Hale mod just because i don't piss off our players and i want to give them something new and interesting which they can enjoy instead of throwing shit to the fan by adjusting settings and other crap. Obviously there are a lot of servers without any kind of admins around. I have room for one more TF2 server so i can easily have in up within hours. Sadly the thing isn't public but i can keep a secret if you share the plugin. Contact me through PM if you need 1 more quality server.

nope, december they said.. (but hey they said people could beta test it too if they registered on some other forum, which didn't happen) so i would just wait it out.

Yeah, it would be cool just to have this type of mod as an admin to just run around on the map as something else with animation. Would be fun for sure!
