Metamod works fine with the update..

but it replaces your modfied gamesinfo.txt with a new one.
Just re-edit your gamesinfo.txt with the path to metamod and it will work again.

Curious, those who are having problems are you running mani too? I'm getting the same FAIL from metamod. I'm using Linux with the latest metamod.

Im using the latest Mani Mod on linux, everythings fine.

Hmmm. I'm using an older Mani version. Maybe updating would help?

The 0.84 release thread has been updated with a release that fixes the Valve update. The new release is 0.84a.
