I have a Virtual Machine.

My VM have 50+ mpbs Download speed and 50+ Upload speed..
But still on my server players getting a bit high ping and small lag & bad registry also..

I mean on other svs players get 20 ping those get 40 on my server.
and those who get 7-10 they get 20-25.
What would be the issue..

My Virtual Machin Config As follow :

1. Model name: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2673 v3 @ 2.40GHz
2. OS : Centos 7.3 HPC
3. CPU MHz: 2397.223
4. Ram : 1.75 GiB

Just did speed test and got following results:

Download: 806.33 Mbit/s

Testing upload speed :
Upload: 100.02 Mbit/s

FYI, sv_cmdrate doesn't exist and ex_interp is a client-side cvar.

So removing those rates from server.cfg will reduce the lag?

or I have to change rates ?

No, I was just saying that those do don't do anything.

Someone please tell me the solution for lag & high ping...
I have good Upload & Download speed compared to other hosters but still players getting High Ping & Lag on My server

Where the hell you have get those rates ???

Remove all previous rate settings and
add only these first. Remember reboot server to get default values to other cvars.
sv_maxrate 0
sv_minrate 50000
sv_maxupdaterate 100
sv_minupdaterate 30

Dam DropBox have limit file sharing from legacy accounts also
