Banning someone doesnt kick them. You must issue the amx_ban (user) (length) (reason) THEN amx_kick them in order for them to leave.

I'm not running AMX Mod X yet, but I have been running a CS server with AMX for a long time. I'm currently running AMX .96j and it has the same banning problem. But there is a way arount it. If you ban with the ban menu (amx_banmenu) it will ban AND kick them.

I have been waiting a very long time for the next AMX Mod update. Thanks AMX Mod X for bringing AMX back to life!!!

have a look at the description:
amx_ban <authid or ip> <minutes> [reason] <-- use this command to ban a player who is not on the server
amx_Banid/amx_banip <name or #userid> <minutes> [reason] <-- use this command to kickban a player who is on the server - if you use amx_banid the id will be banned / amx_banip: ip will be banned

but this will be changed in the next version

banid is that steamid then? Can I still ban ppl after they left the server like amx mod?

I think it would be better if the commands were the other way round, but hey that's just my opinion (and I can easily change it myself if I so wish to)

and remove them
