Hi folks, I come back to bother, I'm about to set up a TF2 server when I run the server see the following error:

Using default binary: ./srcds_linux
Server will auto-restart if there is a crash.
WARNING: Failed to locate steam binary.
WARNING: Could not locate steam binary:, ignoring.
Using breakpad minidump system
Using breakpad crash handler

Console initialized.
Game.dll loaded for "Team Fortress"
Setting breakpad minidump AppID = 440
Forcing breakpad minidump interfaces to load
Looking up breakpad interfaces from steamclient
Calling BreakpadMiniDumpSystemInit
Installing breakpad exception handler for appid(440)/version(4833)
Particles: Missing 'particles/error.pcf'
maxplayers set to 24
Replay system server init failed!
PreMinidumpCallback: updating dump comment
Uploading dump (in-process) [proxy '']
/tmp/dumps/crash_20120323111108_1.dmp
success = yes
response: CrashID=bp-7f945105-bd2a-43b9-ab51-06c442120323

The server has installed the following plugins:

- Source metamod 1.8.7
- Source mod 1.4.1

The command line with which the server is launched as follows:

./srcds_run -game tf +ip xxx.xx.xxx.xxx +port 27015 -autoupdate -maxplayers 24 +map cp_badlands + exec server.cfg

The run Servers on Linux distribution Centos 5.7.

I don't think it has anything to do with Metamod.

The Particles: Missing 'particles/error.pcf' line is normal.
The Failed to locate steam binary can be fixed by passing -steambin <steam directory> to srcds_run.

Try to use the -verify_all parameter with steam (ex: ./steam -command update -game tf -verify_all -dir <yourdir>)
