I have posted on the interwave forums about this, but judging from some of the other posts, it could take some time to get an answer.

So i thought I would ask here, see if anyone had any ideas.

Basically I banned 4 guys from one of my servers earlier and thought I would check SB to see if it handled it.

It didnt, so I thought that maybe it they would be a few mins before they appeared (its happened before). No, they werent.

I did some testing and have found that if an admin bans then SB will not handle the ban (think it gets written to banned_users.cfg) BUT if the console bans then it will get handled by SB.

We still have our admin and skins, obviously something here is wrong. It isnt the database, basebans is disabled etc.

Any ideas?

I had the same issue once. I found that in my sourcebans cfg, i didnt set the server id correctly. Also, sourcebans does not write to the cfg on my server, if a player tries to join that is banned, it runs through the sourcebans interface and not the cfg. However admins are writn to the server.

Just check your server id in the cfg.
