Heya, a quick question. For ages now, reserved slot plugin didnt work. Its as if the plugin was not there.

Anywho, found the issue. If i hide the slot, it dont work. If i leave reserved slot visable, it works fine.

Now i have sorted the issue, so dont really need support on it. Im just curious as to why this is, as i have mates with dods servers that hide the slot, and it works fine.

Eg... maxplayers 33, and you hide the slot making it a 32. If a player joins with res access, it will show 33/32. But with mine, as i said, hiding the slot wont work at all.

what do you mean it doesn't work? As in they can't join from the steam server list? That is normal, they need to join using connect <IP>:<PORT> or any third party application that uses that command (such as HLSW)

Ok as i have it now, server says 33 slotta.

If there are 32 people on, and a public player goes to join (32/33), it says dropped due to slot reservation. But i can connect into the 33rd slot fine making it say 33/33.

If i hide the slot, and it says 32/32 on, i can not join. says server is full.

My mates have it that way, with slot hidden. And if it is 32/32, all his members have to do is join as normal. And it allows them in, they do not have to use console to join and server states 33/32 on, then kicks someone.

that shouldn't be possible to join a hidden slot on a full server through steam browser. Most likely he's telling them to use a third party tool to connect that uses the manual command
