How do i prevent bots from joining after map change when the server is full? I have this in server cfg.

Why do you need to? It works perfectly fine as it is, as the bots will leave the game as players reconnect.

Unless i missed a cvar but 10 players were kicked after the map changed since 10 bots are added on bot quota.

I'm going to try this plugin out asap. But I do have one question.

Is there a possible way, either through this plugin in the future or without, to control what team the player joins? On our servers, a player is automatically assigned to a team when joining and it's always the BLU team if the teams are even (normal behaviour, bots auto-fill). However, this always causes the RED team to have more, sometimes all, bots.

Basically, is there a way to have players assigned to the team with the most bots; or at the very least, randomized?

I'm sure it's possible, but it's outside the scope of this plugin.

Alright, no worries.

I installed the main plugin with both modules today and they're working great. I have a couple questions. First, can you clarify what "sm_bot_game_logic" does? What would be the advantages/disadvantages of toggling this? Second, we have a list of about 30~ names in botnames.ini but we're seeing names repeated sometimes up to four times on the server with 12 bots spawned. Is that intentional? Thanks.

If sm_bot_game_logic is disabled, the plugin will use the following procedure to assign bots to teams/classes:
  • If teams are equal, assign bot to RED, otherwise assign bot to lesser team
  • If the team the bot will join has no medics, assign bot to medic class, otherwise assign bot to the class that has the least players

If sm_bot_game_logic is enabled, the plugin will let the game decide how to assign the bot. I suspect it's similar to the game logic.

The Random Names module is supposed to not repeat any names. Could you please paste the output of the status command the next time you get multiple bots with the same name? I just tested it with 40 names and 31 bots spawned and got no duplicates.

I dunno what to say. It checks if a bot already exists with a name before it picks it, and I was unable to reproduce it myself.

Alright, I guess we live with it then. Tried again this morning with only the bot managing plugins, still happens.
