Installed updater as you said, the motdf plugin now runs.
Unfortunately, ran into another problem. When I run sm_rcon motdf_register (or just rcon motdf_register using the main console as well), it responds with 'Registering Server.' but never does anything further. I do not get an additional response like 'Registration successful, please keep token in safe place' as your wiki suggests I will receive. I've let it sit up to 10 minutes, still no response, and when my plugin attempts to use the motdf_showmotdpanel, the following error is given:

I also tried using the IP-based authentication method. When that is set and I attempt to register the server, it tells me I don't need to. However, I still get the same error as above when using IP-based authentication.
