How do I do custom event sounds? Sorry if this is noobish...

ok sice you didn't look that hard i'll help you out. first you need to have people on your server download the file. there are plugins for this (http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=612) or you can put the path to each custom file in a res file. then you need to execute the command on the clients

speak soundfile

some times you need to add the name of folder it's in(any other then vox)

if you want to use mp3's then you need to do something like

mp3 play sound\mysounds\song.mp3 <-- might be / and not \

Thanks Lart... I found stuff related to that.. but isn't there an easier way if I just want to replace the sounds for the already existing events.... like headshots and first kill?

speak only works on your client. speak vox/hello will only be heard by the person executing the command. How do we do it for all clients? admin_speakall was a plug for AM and there was an old amx_exec plug for amx. Any ideas?
