You don't need to edit the server.cfg for this.
Files you need to edit are in:

\cfg\sourcemod\l4d_stats.cfg
\addons\sourcemod\configs\databases.cfg
and the config.php that is part of the web stats.

If by host you mean the mysql setup area in database.cfg.
It can be localhost (but only if mysql is running on same system as game server)
If it's on a separate site, you need to put the IP in there.

Sorry meant databases.cfg

I used host = to my ftp address. Is that correct or does it have to be an ip?

My ftp was sb2.inmotionhosting.com

Not sure what happened, but it finally started working, and showed 2 players on, and when a clan member and I joined, it seemed to stop tracking.

Check the sourcemod error logs in \addons\sourcemod\logs.
See if it mentions any reason why it stopped working.

IE:

I forgot to extract the zip files and apparently it doesn't work when you don't extract them. lol DOH!

Got it working and edited my post after realizing I was just an idiot.



So, I extracted both and ran updatetable again and it created the countries just fine. I noticed that it extracted two files for the city, and I get an error when trying to run updatetable for these two.

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.




Realized even though I see an error, it's chuging away at the file as the database size is increasing. It's taking a while, but I think it will work.

Ours took 45 minutes roughly to install the updated tables.

I was just wondering if this plug in causes your pings to increase or causes any more lag on the server game play?
