Description:
This is a readyscript made for tournaments. The script will automatically run the command "start" (please create this as an alias in your .cfg file) when a specificed minimum number of players wrote ".ready".
The players can remove the ready-status by typing ".stop".
A status showing the number of players who are ready out of a specified minimum can be seen by typing ".status".

Author:
Original coded by AssKicR, but since his version did not work at all I have fixed it. I hope that it is okay for AssKicR (please let me know if it isn't).

Cvars:
sv_minplayers: when this number of players are all ready the script will restart the server (read: run the "start" command).

Testet:
This script was testet with Counter-Strike 1.6 in october 2009.

Practical example:
Lets assume we are at a LAN party. A match is about to start.
The match is between 2 teams with 5 players on each team.
sv_minplayers is therefore set to 10.
Every each of the 10 players write ".ready" as they become ready for the match to start. When all 10 players wrote ".ready" the server will start the match (i.e. run the command "start").

I found this script very helpful in a big tournament where a lot of matches were being played at the same time (=a lot of matches to start at the same time).

Best regards
KristianI

you could code the cfg in the plugin itself.

@ xtinct:

It executes whetever command you assigned to alias start when enough players have said .ready,
you should make an alias start to a war.cfg or something.

but if you alias start to another command. Like shutdownserver, it shutdown the server when x amount of players said .ready

it's simple, lets take ratio 5/10

add alias start "exec war.cfg" in server.cfg

5 players said .ready, it's execs the war.cfg.

so it it basicly the same as "rcon exec war.cfg", but with some sort of vote thing

Thanks for all your inputs.

I will however not be developing further on this script (sorry) - I just made it public if anybody could use it.

I have added a section that explains the usage of this script in practical terms - even though drekes already did a good job.

Best regards

This plugin serves no real purpose or can be done using other plugins.

If you would like any information regarding possible adjustments you could make or things you could do to make this better, please feel free to post here or PM me.

Unapproved.

Hi folks, I'm running a 5on5 cs 1.6 cup series soon and i need a simple plugin like this!
I installed it correctly and it works fine until 10 Players wrote .ready
After that nothing happens. no .cfg gets executed and no restarts are done.

yes i did add the alias to the server.cfg!

maybe the plugin is outdated and doesn't work due to recent cs updates?

i really need a simple plugin like this one
