General lag only on certain maps

I run a server through NFO seattle premium. Its a 25 slot CS 1.6 server.
Pretty stock...
AMXMODX 1.76
ATAC 3....
thats it

Now when I play certain maps the server or players experience ping spikes,very noticable ping spikes pretty much rendering these maps unplayable.

The maps that are plauged by this problem so far are de_chateau,de_morningstar,de_torn

Any insights or any help at all would be greatly apprieciated.

Why not try disabling all plugins and see if it still happens?

Yea thats the first thing i tried, i also tried a fresh install.

Sidenote the maps run fine when there 3 or less players but when there more the problem occurs.

Try contacting your host yet? Maybe they are having issues and can tell you why it is happening

thhats the first thing i did,at first they thought it was an attack on the serv.turns out it was the people that were playing while they were doing there tests.Im still trying to resolve it with NFO but I thought I would come here to maybe get some insight.

I noticed also many ppls have the same problem on certain maps (the montioned one and other).
May be (i think) bescause of thier size ,textures are dense ,lighting ,sounds (ambient sound, explosions..etc) also play a role ; and require substantial usage of the game engine especially on certain area.

That means a lot of cpu and memory usage by the server side and also other ressources by the client one.
in my opinion, you should turn off certain optional items in way to optimize the game play :
bots
remove flashbang
use teleport_smokegren.amxx for smoke grenade.

About lighting try this plugin weather_effects.amxx (it look like doesn't make sense ,but it worked for me on de_aztec ).

Or simply don't play those maps /or try another mod for them (zombie plague for exemple)

Some maps are buggy, that's why you get lag spikes ;)
