Hello,

I am looking for recommendations for a dedicated server build. The server will be running a mix of CSS and CSGO servers. (somewhere around 180 css player slots [~6 servers] and 60 CSGO slots [~2-3 servers] at most). Connected via 1Gb uplink port


Budget is around $1500USD for the core components but will also consider recommendations that do not fit. Prebuilds would be good too

10-12 physical core xeon CPU (so *NOT* 5-6 core CPUs with hyperthreading)
16 GB RAM
1 TB HDD/SSD (HDD/SSD doesn't really matter I think)

You would need those settings MINIMUM to run about 9 servers at once (~1 CPU core per server, I'd allocate 1 GB per server even though it doesn't really use that much, but better to have more than less, plus the OS uses RAM).
