Cs Go limit of 100mb per maps for download? FTP

I have server a few years, from csgo and I noticed that I can not boot a map with more than 100mb in size that my clients can not download.
to some way of fixing it

Dont .bz2 large maps.

Do you have any limits? I use FASTDL the compressed maps gets 31 mb after downloading 115mb

I think its when decompressing if the filesize goes over 160MB it stops and shows a missing map error.

Eg: Dont .bz2 .bsp files >= 160MB

150 MB.

If the .bsp is 150 MB or more, do not compress it.

This does not seem to be working for me. I used surf_christmas as an example, 186mb uncompressed. Uploaded it uncompressed to my server and fast DL. Restarted the server, loaded the map, connected to server with game client. As soon as the map started to download, I was kicked to the main menu with the "Disconnected: Missing Map [surf_christmas.bsp]" message. Console just showed Error Downloading.

I do recall there used to be a cvar that clients could set in their autoexec to allow file downloads greater than 150mb, but is this also REQUIRED for the quoted statement to work for clients?

have you tried to download the unzipped file in browser? Some webserver doesn't allow by default the download from "unknown" file-extentions like .bsp

Also make sure the .bz2 has been deleted from fastdl.

Thank you. I did delete the .bz2 before my first response, as Neuro Toxic mentioned, but I forgot that in IIS you need to set specific file extensions to be downloadable. This was exactly the issue. As soon as I made .bsp's downloadable, I joined my surf server, loaded surf_christmas again, it downloaded just fine and here I am playing.
