I'm making a website for someone and one of the pages opens and ftp connection to the game server an retrieves the mapcycle.txt to display it. I wanted to know whether I can put in the <br /> HTML tag in the mapcycle. Would it ignore it?

Right now I'm forced to use <pre> tags and it sort of knocks off the formatting of the page.

Well, that's only for pawn. But you're heading in the right direction ;).

vvg125, are you retriving the .txt file via php or another scripting language? I'm assuming you are, so why not just check for new line characters?

I think I get what you're saying... But wouldn't that interfere with the map names in the text file?

A mapcycle file inherently has newline characters in it.

Just parse it with php... ;\

To answer your question, NO. I used it in mine in fact, I'm still using it and it does not interfere :-) AFAIK ;-).
