Anyone having issues with SourceBans 1.4.4 and PHP 5.3.0?

I just bumped my web server (IIS) up to PHP 5.3.0 today for a few other apps hosted on the same box. Those are working fine...

With SourceBans:

I now get occasionally:

"SourceBans is not installed." (If I refresh the page, sometimes it'll go to the Dashboard and sometimes, this error will pop up.)
On the Dashboard page: A message flashes across involving AJAX and an invalid XML response from the server.
"./themes_c must be writable"

Obviously, I did not change anything on SourceBans other than upgrade to 1.4.4 last week. The PHP change should not have touched anything in SourceBans itself.

I'm very much aware that PHP 5.3.0 had some hard changes for at least two of our other apps. I just wanted to see if anyone else on 5.3.0 with SourceBans is having similar issues. Click Here for our Bans Site.

I may drop PHP back to 5.2.10, which was working fine prior to this. Matter of fact, I'll double-check that now and make sure that's the key problem. (I'm 99% sure it is.)

EDIT: Yup. Going back to 5.2.10, SourceBans no problems. Maybe need to look at the PHP configuration, since that was updated as well for 5.3.0.

Does PHP still have permission to write to themes_c though? It's weird that it only happens occasionally, and I'd think 5.3.0 was at least backwards compatible.

I had to edit the folder permissions for themes_c AFTER I put 5.3.0 in. I reverted everything back to 5.2.10 for now until I figure out what's going on with 5.3.0.

For some stuff, 5.3.0 was incompatible due do the changes in object references.

http://tf2wiki.net

Resize them to 340x255 and upload them from Admin Panel > Servers.

I've been working on installing sb the last couple days.... yeah.. i know....

After doing battle with gameservers as well as my webhosting company im at the point to where when i ban from hlsw it records it in the logs and add to the banlist on the site, yet it will not let me add an admin saying it wont connect. It also says "error connecting to ip:port" on the servers page. I am at my wits end with this. All of my cfgs to mysql are correct, ive whitelisted a dozen ips... what gives?

This is the error i get when trying to add a new admin.

The admin has been updated successfully
Rehashing Admin and Group data on all related servers...8.9.30.123:27015 (1/1) failed: Can't connect.
Done

Well the gameserver is able to send information like bans etc but im not able to unban people from the sb site. I can also add admins though it tells me it failed, the admins will be added on next map change. It seems as though the server isnt able to recieve anything from the website? any ideas guys?

How does sourcebans attempt to unban people from the website? What port does it try to communicate on (and what protocol, UDP or TCP?)

Thanks,
